Freak Like MeFreak Like MeModel: Shannon Dunne

In the grand marble palace, beyond the mortal realm, lived a being known only as the "Freak Like Me." Her appearance was a strange and terrifying sight to behold, with multiple hands protruding from her body in various locations. She was a being of great power, with a heart that beat with a deep love for all creatures.

The palace was a place of ethereal beauty, filled with pastel colors of pinks, reds, purples, and blues, much like the artwork that depicted the Freak Like Me. But beneath the surface of this beautiful world, the Freak Like Me struggled.

Her many hands were not a gift but a curse, a constant reminder of her difference from the rest of the world. She had been born into a world that did not understand her, and the many hands that protruded from her body only added to the fear and rejection that she faced.

The Freak Like Me had the power to heal, to bring hope to the world, but she was also trapped in her own struggle. She longed for acceptance, for understanding, but it seemed that the rest of the palace would never accept her for who she truly was.

And so, she continued to roam the grand halls of the palace, her many hands always ready to aid those in need. But the pain and the struggle never left her. It was a constant battle, one that she fought with every fiber of her being.

As the years passed, the Freak Like Me began to realize that her curse was not just physical, but emotional as well. The pain and rejection had taken their toll on her, and she found herself struggling to hold onto the love that she had once held so dear.

And in the midst of all her pain, there was the hand that clutched her heart. It was a hand of her own, a reminder of the love that she held so dear, but also a reminder of the pain that came with that love. Her heart was heavy, burdened with the weight of a world that would never truly accept her for who she was.

One day, as she stood alone in the grand halls of the palace, with her many hands raised in a gesture of peace, she let out a loud screech. It was a cry of pain, a cry of frustration, and a cry for help.

To her surprise, a gentle hand reached out to her. It was the hand of a kindred spirit, another being who had also been rejected by the rest of the palace. And in that moment, the Freak Like Me knew that she was not alone.

Most of AJ's artwork is created within Photoshop, using nude photographs he takes of volunteers, who are fans of his artwork. Free Fall Through MidnightFree Fall Through MidnightModel: Ashley Addison

She was once a goddess of light, but he stole her essence and cast her into the abyss. She became the embodiment of midnight, drifting in the void. Sometimes, she would see a spark of hope and reach out to it, but every time she did, she would lose a part of herself. Her skin would peel away like paint ribbons, revealing her bones. Her face would show an exposed skull. Her hair would look like splattered paint. She did not know if she was falling or flying, free or doomed. She only knew that she was freefalling through midnight.

...But why would someone want to volunteer to pose nude for body horror art?! Here are a few reasons:

Red ThornRed ThornModel: Rose Noir

Deep within the shadowy corners of the universe lies a realm of mystery and dark secrets. It is a world beyond human comprehension, where beings of immense power and twisted beauty dwell.

Among these creatures is Red Thorn, a being of enigmatic allure and sinister intent. Her skin is a dusky rose hue, and her lithe form is adorned with sharp thorns that twist and curl like the tendrils of a wild rose bush. Her arms and legs are covered with large thorns protruding from her skin, similar to those found on a rose stem.

Red Thorn is a creature of the night, her movements fluid and seductive, yet there is something uncanny and unsettling about her presence. She is a symbol of the occult and the arcane, a force to be feared and revered in equal measure.

To those who dare to approach her, Red Thorn appears as a vision of otherworldly beauty. Her delicate curves and elegant movements bewitch the senses, yet the thorns that protrude from her skin remind all who behold her of the danger that lurks beneath her alluring exterior.

Her chest and stomach are a grotesque and mesmerizing sight to behold, resembling the twisted contours of a human skull. Her breasts are marked with deep, hollow eye-sockets, and below them, a gaping nasal cavity looms in the center of her stomach. Her skeletal teeth glint in the shadows, lending an otherworldly quality to her already eerie presence.

As she dances, the scent of roses fills the air, their fragrance intoxicating and heady. It is a reminder of the fragility of life, and the fleeting nature of beauty. Yet Red Thorn is indifferent to such mortal concerns. She is a being of chaos and darkness, a force that exists only to bring pain and suffering to the world.

And so she dances on, her movements growing more frenzied and wild with each passing moment. Her thorns grow longer and sharper, and her rose-colored skin takes on a sickly, pallid hue. And then, with a final burst of energy, Red Thorn vanishes into the night, leaving behind only the faintest whisper of her presence, and the promise of further darkness to come.

All volunteers must be over the age of 18 and fill out a model release form. A.J. takes all the photos for his artwork at his home studio.
